2020's winner of Pritzker Prize goes to... GRAFTON ARCHITECTS!

Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara, the co-founders of Grafton Architects, are 2020’s 47th and 48th laureates of the Pritzker Architecture Prize. *applauds*

The duo are the first recipients to have receive the award from Ireland. Working together for over forty years, they have the majority of their projects built in Ireland, and also a number of international projects in which they have won through competitions.

Farrell and McNamara co-founded Grafton Architects in Dublin in 1978. Their studio also recently won the 2020 RIBA Royal Gold Medal for Architecture at the end of last year.
